Protect information
Plan secure handling and documented destruction for personal and business data before equipment moves on.
About PC Be Gone
Technology moves on. Useful equipment shouldn’t be overlooked.
Help people and small businesses clear out unused electronics while protecting the personal and confidential information those devices may hold.
Minimize electronic waste wherever practical by giving useful devices and components another life, with responsible recycling for equipment that cannot be reused.
Professional Electronics Pickup
PC Be Gone brings more than 20 years of IT experience to electronics pickup, including experience handling secure and confidential information for individuals and businesses. We’re preparing to serve Greater Sacramento, including Elk Grove and Davis.
The idea is practical: help residents and small businesses clear out unused computers and peripherals while giving the information on those devices the attention it deserves. Secure data handling comes before equipment reuse or downstream recycling.
We’re preparing the service before opening pickup appointments. Our approach combines careful handling of sensitive information, documented sanitization, and responsible reuse and recycling through downstream facilities with verified credentials and processing standards.

Plan secure handling and documented destruction for personal and business data before equipment moves on.
Explain the pickup fee, agreed destruction process, and documentation so you know what to expect.
Keep useful equipment in circulation after agreed data handling, and direct the rest to an appropriate downstream recycler.
Experience that informs the service
Years of working with secure and confidential information inform our approach to retiring electronics. For individuals, that means protecting private records. For businesses, it means agreeing on a process and documentation that support their security policies and compliance obligations.
